Research Interests

I had been studying a conjecture, called the geometric Bogomolov conjecture. This was a conjecture on the distribution of points of small height on a closed subvariety of an abelian variety over a function field. It was solved after contributions by several authors including myself. In a very important step of the proof, we used nonarchimedean geometry, such as Berkovich analytic spaces and tropical varieties. That has led me to the research of nonarchimedean geometry. Now, I am interested in skeletons of Berkovich analytic spaces and their faithful tropicalization.
