Access

There are two international airports: Narita International Airport, which is a main international airport, and recently opened Haneda Airport International Terminal (Tokyo International Airport), which has fewer international flights (also from Frankfurt, not daily) but it is closer to the central city of Tokyo. The conference venue and hotels listed below are located around JR Shinjuku (新宿) Station, JR Takadanobaba (高田馬場) Station and JR Ikebukuro (池袋) Station. These stations are along a circle line called JR Yamanote Line (山手線). So please head for the loop of JR Yamanote Line as a first step.

From Narita International Airport to Tokyo, there are three choices: JR Narita Express to JR Shinjuku Station (3,110 yen, 90 min); Limousine Bus to JR Shinjuku Station (3,000 yen, 120 min); Keisei Skyliner to JR Nippori station (2,400 yen, 40 min) and transfer to JR Yamanote Line (山手線) in the direction of Ikebukuro and Shinjuku (池袋・新宿方面) for JR Ikebukuro (池袋) Station (160 yen, 12 min) or JR Takadanobaba (高田馬場) Station (160 yen, 15 min) or JR Shinjuku (新宿) Station (190 yen, 20 min).

From Haneda Airport International Terminal to Tokyo, take Keikyu Line/Railways (京急線) to Shinagawa (品川) Station (400 yen, 15 min by Airport Express (no extra charge)). Then transfer to JR Yamanote Line (山手線) in the direction of Shibuya/Shinjuku/Ikebukuro (渋谷・新宿・池袋方面) for JR Shinjuku (新宿) Station (190 yen, 18 min) or JR Takadanobaba (高田馬場) Station (190 yen, 23 min) or JR Ikebukuro (池袋) Station (250 yen, 27 min).

At JR Shinjuku station, you can take JR Yamanote Line (山手線) in the direction of Ikebukuro/Tabata/Ueno (池袋・田端・上野方面) to JR Takadanobaba (高田馬場) Station (130 yen, 4 min) or JR Ikebukuro (池袋) Station (150 yen, 6 min). Otherwise, you can also shortly walk to Toei-Subway (都営地下鉄) Shinjuku-Nishiguchi (新宿西口) Station (E01) and take Toei-Subway Oedo Line (大江戸線) to (Toei-Subway) Higashi-Shinjuku (東新宿) Station (E02) (170 yen, 2 min, next station).

The conference will be held in the 3rd Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the 55-S-Building (fronting the Meiji Dori/Street) of Nishi-Waseda campus.
