Research Interests = 'Random-walk-like' Study

I study probabitlity theory under the direction of professor M.Takeda. I'm interestead in Markov processes which are associated with semigroups whose generators are pseudo-differential operators with negative definite symbols.

I had studied partial differential equations, especially Fourier analysis, distribution and function spaces at Tokyo institute of technology, in the undergraduate cource. The supervisior was professor A.Inoue. However, I had been also interested in the theory of random walks or Markov chains.

I prefered to probability so that I had moved from Tokyo institute of technology to Kyoto university when I went to master course. I have studied the basis of probability theory, such as martingales, Markov chains, Ergodic theory and Brownian motions, in Shigekawa laboratory.

I have moved to Takeda laboratory, mathematical institute, Tohoku university because I need to study further under the supervisor who is more interested in my study.

Keywords

Markov processes, pseudo-differential operators, the spectrum theory, Sobolev spaces, Dirichlet forms, stable processes, quantum mechanics.
