This is the 5th symposium aiming research communication between Franco, Japanese and Vietnamese mathematicians in Singularity Theory. The symposium will present recent advances and perspectives in Geometry and Topology of Singularities, Algebraic Geometry of Singular Varieties and Applications of Singularity Theory. The first symposium was held in Nice in 2013, then Sapporo in 2014, Hanoi in 2015 and Chambery in the last year. These symposiums are main activities of the International Research Group in Singularity Theory (GDRI).

This project has been supported by JSPS KAKENHI Grant Number JP17H06128.
